From the reviews
I can't recommend my acupuncturist highly enough! Throughout my pregnancy journey, she has been a cornerstone of support and healing. Each session with her is not just about acupuncture; it’s about nurturing care, genuine empathy, and professional expertise.
Beth is so amazing at what she does, she truly was born for this. She’s a natural healer with so many gifts, honestly. My sessions with her are the best part of my week - I look forward to them every other day.
I have never had acupuncture before and have always been curious. I finally pulled the trigger and chose Beth Mills to introduce me to the experience. While I did not come in full of doubt, I also did not come in expecting a cure-all. I have seen her twice now (scheduled to see again, too) and she has been fantastic.
Working with Megan has helped me so much! I originally began seeing her to address menstruation irregularities, back pain, and allergies. She's helped me identify specific areas of my body that were causing pain, as well as given me info on what to eat/not eat during certain seasons to further the acupuncture/Chinese…
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
