Highly recommended place, and amazing reception. Very intelligent and professional practitioner. my husband had lower back pains for several years, for just one visit his pains are gone. Jonathan was able to identify other issues with my husband and I.

★★★★★ — Donara, May 2022

Jonathan is a superb person and a gifted healer. I have been I'll for 28 years without the benefit of acupuncture. Now with weekly treatments I am having a great time being alive again. My fatigue is almost gone. I am comfortable every day now. With good energy. My days are no longer dismal.

Thanks to In-Hand, Acupuncture changed how my wife and I think about medicine, pain, and our bodies. If you have any type of pain, try here FIRST. We have never left an appointment with Jonathan not feeling better (or completely fixed) than when we arrived, and will continue coming here for as long as we live locally.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
