Eric was awesome in helping my 13 year old tumbler get back into action! She had just made the cheer team and we were anxious to get things fixed asap. She started out with a painful stress reaction in her ischial tuberosity and back pain and he helped her heal through different techniques such as scraping, cupping,…
Brian worked with me in overcoming left SI joint pain that kept me from walking. After the first visit I experienced noticeable improvement, with no pain lasting for a couple of days after the 2nd appointment. Within about 10-12 appointments I was discharged and feeling the best.
I went to Impackt PT after my Achilles rupture and started physical therapy just one week after surgery. They’ve been a massive part of my speedy recovery. The team is not only incredibly knowledgeable, but also genuinely fun to work with. They truly listen and tailor care to your individual needs.
My daughter came to ImPackt to address issues with ankle and knee pain from running track. She was worried she wouldn’t be able to finish her season with the pain she was experiencing. Her physical therapist Eric Thoreson was wonderful working with her.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
