My husband and I have both received cupping and acupuncture for our pain from the neck to the knees as a result of a car accident. Dr. Kim has been nothing short of AMAZING!! He takes the time to find out what areas need the most attention so that each session is unique.
I truly cannot say enough about Dr. Jason and Hun Acupuncture. If you are in need of pain relief and healing this is a great place to receive it and I highly recommend it. So glad I found them. You get a knowledgeable and patient doctor with many years experience.
Dr Hun Kim has been a blessing to me since a year ago. His acupuncture treatment is the best I’ve seen with the suction cup remedy along with careful precision pin pointing your painful muscles joints through his state of the art acupuncture procedure& is extremely effective. Hun is wonderful. The facility is clean and peaceful. Mr. Hun is warm and discerning. I've gone to him for several issues: stomach acid problems and lower back issues. What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
