From the reviews

This is my 2nd time back to Hulst Jepsen as my Osteoarthritis Arthritis flared up in my ankle and lower back. I was assessed by Samantha (fantastic!) and quickly scheduled in with a program in mind. Worked with Lisa as Wayne was pretty booked up. Blessed to have found another such knowledgeable and caring PT!

★★★★★ — Kevin, May 2026

I can't say enough good things about Wayne and the incredible team of techs and staff at Hulst Jepsen. They consistently ensure I understand my PT plan and the reasons behind each exercise. Their dedication and encouragement to keep improving have been instrumental in my progress.

★★★★★ — Taylor, Apr 2025

I had the absolutely best experience with my physical therapy after my rotator cuff surgery. Wayne was great! He had a great plan for me and was always making sure I wasn’t overdoing it. He is knowledgeable and had great advice.

★★★★★ — Omar, May 2025

I came to HJ after major back surgery and met Wayne who became my PT. When I asked how long I had to work with him, he said: "truthfully, a year." What??? Not what i wanted to hear. But I stuck it out. Today, I am doing/walking and physically moving so well, my family and friends can't believe it.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
