From the reviews
The whole team is fantastic. I'm so happy I found this place. They are professional and caring, they always make me feel welcome. My back pain has gotten much better. You won't regret coming here.
I waited 3 months before going to doctor for evaluation of my knee, after injuring it during my workout. Pain was excruciating at times, and I couldn’t walk 1/2 block. PT was prescribed as part of my treatment, and HPPS was recommended by a friend. This has been a game-changer!
Three tips that can help you recover faster and stronger at Hudson Premier (from experience): 1 - Trust the staff. Caring, conscientious and dedicated to the art and science of recovery. 2 - Consistency in your recovery plan.
I had a hiking accident and have been going to physical therapy for more than a year with different physical therapists and I've made the most significant improvement with Gail and her crew. They are all wonderful, supportive, and seem to truly work as a team.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
