From the reviews
I’ve been seeing Dr Tony for PT and dry-needling to help with my chronic headache and migraines, which most often stem from tension in my neck/shoulders. After a month of biweekly sessions I am thrilled at the results - less pain, less tension, and most importantly: significantly fewer headaches and migraines!
I cannot say enough wonderful things about Moura, who I have been working with for almost a year. From the very beginning, she has been incredibly supportive, knowledgeable, and always greets me with a positive attitude.
I've had wonderful experience at EPTG. Dr. Moura Ibrahim is super knowledgeable and attentive. She helped me greatly reduce my wrist pain and build strength in my arms and hands. She is also a really kind and fun person to be with.
I began going to Exchange Physical Therapy Group in June after falling down a flight of stairs. While I wasn’t sure which location to choose at first, I’m so glad I went with the Weehawken office. From day one, the experience has been exceptional.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
