From the reviews
I finally managed to book an appointment with Dr. Bernier, and it was absolutely worth the wait! I had been experiencing pain in my right hand, and he quickly found the cause. I’ll admit, I was hesitant at first because of the needles (lol), but I’m so glad I went through with it — my hand feels so much better now.
Fred is amazing! He's very caring and makes me feel very comfortable during our sessions. He listens to all my concerns and adjusts accordingly. Since I've been going to him from the beginning of the year my energy has increased, my mood doesn't fluctuate as much and my anxiety has decreased significantly.
Seeing Fred at Hudson Accupuncture for my Lupus-related fatigue issues makes me wonder why I waited so long to try this method of treatment. After just two months my energy level has increased to where I can make it through an entire day without surrendering to the sofa with exhaustion.
Fred is amazing! I went in for migraine treatment, amongst other things. He really listened and did research to provide me with great information on different headaches and how to prevent/treat them. The actual treatment he did was very helpful. I even noticed a positive change in my mood after the first appointment.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
