I’ve been coming here for years and I’ve experiences many of their changes (price increases and acupuncturists) but I feel compelled to praise Dr. Park in Bayonne! She is phenomenal and truly has a magic touch. I absolutely love her— she’s a master of her craft.
I must say, there is something truly magical going on in this space. Not only is it a place for healing ailments, it is also a sanctuary for introspection and self care. Every woman that I’ve encountered there has a gift.
I've been coming for nearly a year. I started prior to the pandemic and had to put it on hold because I live with someone high risk. Once we were both vaccinated I started coming regularly again. Everyone is extremely friendly, from the office staff, to the acupuncturists, to the massage therapists.
5 Stars – The Best Acupuncture Experience in NJ I’ve been seeing the team at NJ Acupuncture Center of Bayonne for a few months now, and they have far exceeded my expectations. The entire staff is incredible—genuinely kind, extremely knowledgeable, and truly supportive.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
