From the reviews
Had my PT at Holy Cross Pompano Beach after my knee replacement surgery. Charlene was excellent. She provided me with a regiment of exercises that got me stronger and back to walking without much discomfort. I am extremely grateful for her care. I would also like to recognize Alex who was also in my sessions early on.
I cannot say enough good things about Holy Cross Rehabilitation Institute in Pompano Beach! I was fortunate to work with two incredible therapists, Charlene and Alex, both before and after my hip replacement surgery. Their professionalism, knowledge, and genuine care made all the difference in my recovery process.
For the past two months, I had the pleasure of working with Alex Solano and Charlene Tucker, the absolute best physical therapists I have ever had. Tiera, who is at the front desk, did a great job of scheduling my appointments and helping me with transportation. This was for a total knee replacement.
My experience in physical therapy post surgery of my ankle was excellent, I was doubtful at first as to whether I would get the same level of therapy as at the Holy Cross Hospital site? The smaller office in Pompano Beach has only3 therapists working at a time . It feels very boutique like!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
