I had a massage here by a wonderful lady named Michelle. Wow! Just what I needed! I am very particular about massage therapists. My husband gifted this to me- otherwise it’s rare for me to try someone new. I was in bad pain in my neck and back. I asked for someone with strong hands for a deep tissue massage.
Just had an awesome blowout by Brazilian Michele I just wish I could stay like this forever!!!
Body and Soul is wonderful. Heather and Samuel are amazing massage therapists and the staff always ensures a great experience.
Service was fine however I don't think it's appropriate to ask a customer, in front of a waiting room full of other customers, if you'd like to tip, and then suggest 20%. That decision is between me and your pin pad. I also wonder if my service person even received the tip? I hope so
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
