From the reviews

Andrew was very thorough with my initial visit. He really took the time to listen to me. He gave great suggestions on additional exercises to do at home. If he didn’t have an answer, he knew where I could get more information. I’ve had a number of acupuncturists throughout my life and Andrew ranks highest!

★★★★★ — Catherine, Aug 2022

Holly B. Goguen is a very kind and professional acupuncturist. Her office staff is very welcoming and the atmosphere is very calming. They are very thorough and I felt comfortable discussing my ailments. I have recommended to all my friends acupuncture.

★★★★★ — Heather, Sep 2017

Holly is truly a blessing. I have been her patient for several years and am grateful for her gentle accupuncture service and knowledge regarding vitamins. Holly is extremely companionate and cares about her patients well being. I had previously suffered from migraines and knee pain.

★★★★★ — Tammy, Oct 2021

I’ve been seeing Ariana for acupuncture for about six months now and it has been incredibly helpful. I’ve had back pain for over 15 years- I have two badly bulging discs with on going sciatica and the treatments have given me hope and kept my pain under control.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
