From the reviews

I came here for my ankle injury and he has been nothing but helpful and educating me on rehab rehabilitation and prevention. His genuine and deep care for his patients really set him apart from other practices I’ve been to. I would 100% recommend going to him for any ailments that could be treated with acupuncture.

Last year, I suffered from my hip/leg area, which feels like pinched nerve, for more than half a year. For 8 months, to be exact. I had trouble walking, standing, sitting, playing with my 2 year old son.. You name it. I thought I could tough it out but it turns out I couldn't.

I injured my ankle during an overseas trip where medical attention was unavailable. My friend recommended me to see Dr. David Yu for treatment, and I can 100% assure you that he is the perfect person to help meet your needs! I didn’t think treatment would help my ankle heal all that much, but within a few weeks, Dr.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
