Originally came with my mom so she can treat her frozen shoulder but ended up getting treated myself and it was the best thing I did. David is very attentive, has good bedside manners, and very knowledgeable.
I started going to David October 19,2022. I was having health issues, and all my tests were coming back negative. I decided to try acupuncture to take my active life back and David was highly recommended. I would come in with a list of weekly issues and week by week my list was down to almost nothing.
David is an exceptional acupuncturist and has helped me tremendously with my nerve pain and other ailments. I was in a car accident in 2018 that had ultimately changed my life and left me seeking pain relief for a long time.
Solid. Absolutely recommend David to anyone seeking relief from soreness or pain. Beats out any chiropractor, physical therapist, or other acupuncturist. I have had lingering pain for years, and Dave was able to figure out the root cause and make it better within weeks.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
