From the reviews
Excellent! I was recommended by a training partner and recently had an injury to my lower back due to squatting. John got me in the next morning and begin to work on my back with mixed therapy of acupressure, qigong, and cupping. I went into there in excruciating pain and walked out feeling so much better.
I had acute shoulder and neck and back pain after a game. He is a magician - cracked my back and relieved it and we did cups too. After an hour I walked painfree. I have been so many times
My massage was one of a kind. I've travelled the world and been the some of the fanciest spa's and never felt as good as I did with John's massage. His location is a simple no frills location, but it's perfectly quiet and authentic. I prefer excellent massage/experience than a fancy spa and not satisfied.
John helping your pain is a sure thing — if something is bothering you or, better yet, you want to stay well in the first place to prevent things from bothering you, go see John. My husband and I both go and he’s professional, kind and can tell what you need right off the bat.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
