From the reviews
I had an amazing experience at Hijama Cupping Wellness. From the moment I walked in, the warm welcome and hospitality stood out. They even offered me water during this hot weather, which made me feel very comfortable and cared for. The setup was extremely clean, organized, and very hygienic.
I had a great experience with Dr. Rizwan for hijama (cupping) therapy. Before starting treatment, I was getting migraines 3–4 times a week, but after my first session, the improvement has been noticeable — now it’s reduced to about once a week. Dr.
I had my hijama (cupping) session at Hijama Cupping Wellness and it was a very good experience. The place was clean, calm, and well organized. The practitioner was very professional, gentle, and explained everything clearly before starting. I felt comfortable and well cared for during the whole session.
Rizwan was very professional and knowledgeable! He explained the Hijama process from very beginning to end and explained the benefits and sunnah for it as well. This was my first time doing it in America and I highly recommend it. I cannot wait to come back with my family and friends.
Booking hijama (wet cupping) at Hijama Cupping Wellness
Hijama Cupping Wellness comes up as a provider that offers hijama — wet cupping, where the skin is lightly punctured after suction so a small amount of blood is drawn. If you're booking hijama specifically, a few things are worth asking before you go. First, sterility is everything — a reputable practitioner uses a fresh, single-use kit (new blades and cups) for every client and follows clean, gloved technique. It's completely fair to ask how they handle this. Second, many people booking hijama want a same-gender practitioner — a female practitioner is available here. Third, ask about aftercare and whether they observe particular days if that matters to you.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
