I had a truly wonderful experience with Dr. Ayesha for my hijama treatment. She has such soft hands and a calm, reassuring approach that made the entire session so comfortable and peaceful. She explained everything clearly and handled the treatment with so much care and professionalism.
Recently we received hijama therapy services, both me and my wife, from Hijama-Cupping Therapy. We had an amazing experience. They provided excellent services. They took the time to explain the process in detail and ensured we felt comfortable throughout. I liked the way Brother Ahmed started the process.
I recently came across this new hijama therapy and couldn't be more pleased with the results. The practitioner was highly knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable throughout the session. They took the time to explain the process and answered all my questions.
Booking hijama (wet cupping) at Hijama- Cupping Therapy
Hijama- Cupping Therapy comes up as a provider that offers hijama — wet cupping, where the skin is lightly punctured after suction so a small amount of blood is drawn. If you're booking hijama specifically, a few things are worth asking before you go. First, sterility is everything — a reputable practitioner uses a fresh, single-use kit (new blades and cups) for every client and follows clean, gloved technique. It's completely fair to ask how they handle this. Second, many people booking hijama want a same-gender practitioner — ask whether that can be arranged. Third, ask about aftercare and whether they observe particular days if that matters to you.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
