From the reviews
I love coming to Nour for hijama. I live in Maryland, and my very first experience with hijama was not the best, so I was nervous about getting it done again. However, when I came to Nour, she was so gentle and kept checking on me to make sure I was comfortable during the session.
Nour is absolutely fantastic and I have recommended her to many of my friends! Hijama is so healing and everyone should try it. I have gone to Nour twice and every time my appointment is over, I can’t wait to go back. I am excited for my upcoming appointment and will try to do it monthly.
Nour is such a lovely sweet lady! For the past year, she has put my nerves at ease during every Hijama wet cupping session I have had so far. She has been very patient and informative with me every step of the way and I can feel she genuinely cares about my well being.
I’ve had 3 cupping (Hijama) sessions with Nour and I can honestly say it is always a great experience with obvious results. She initially asks questions regarding where your pain resides and then she performs the Hijama. She talks you through every step, making the process much more comfortable.
Booking hijama (wet cupping) at Hijama Cupping for Females- Nour Cupping
Hijama Cupping for Females- Nour Cupping comes up as a provider that offers hijama — wet cupping, where the skin is lightly punctured after suction so a small amount of blood is drawn. If you're booking hijama specifically, a few things are worth asking before you go. First, sterility is everything — a reputable practitioner uses a fresh, single-use kit (new blades and cups) for every client and follows clean, gloved technique. It's completely fair to ask how they handle this. Second, many people booking hijama want a same-gender practitioner — a female practitioner is available here. Third, ask about aftercare and whether they observe particular days if that matters to you.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
