Julie was extremely helpful and went out of her way to help my daughter. Would def recommend her, and will be back, if we need her services again.
Julie is really a delightful woman. Very warm and welcoming, I liked her as soon as I met her. I have been experiencing GERD and gastro problems for almost a year. Regular doctor visits, tests and treatments are doing nothing for me so I decided to try acupuncture.
Our family has benefitted greatly from Julie and the services she provides. Not only do the services she offers provide help and relief, but the knowledge and experience she's shared has really helped us make wise diet and lifestyle changes in our day to day that have had a tremendous impact on our health.
After meeting Julie and explaining in detail about the procedure I am very pleased with her. She is very much involved to make you comfortable and making sure that your wellbeing is satisfied. My first treatment went very well, and completely satisfied. I will update as I have more appointments.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
