From the reviews
I am very happy with the care I am getting at this location. Very friendly staff! They take the time to really listen to you, and explain exactly what to expect with each exercise. My injury is a long lasting one but I feel confident that they will help me get back to being active once again, and that is so motivating!
You guys rock! Such a professional and caring place ! Emma Alfred is the best. She is so experienced and listened to my every need. She took the time to get to know me on a personal level and helped me get better! Caring, compassionate and kind!
I went to Highbar in Warren on Main St (Tourister) for help with a complicated knee injury after a fall. James is the absolute best! He is knowledgeable & encouraging & easy to talk to.
Simply the best physical therapy in the Easy Bay. Starting right at the front desk you'll note the professionalism and friendliness. I've worked with Kourtney Wallick before and after knee surgery as well as for a frozen shoulder. What sets them apart from the rest is their sole focus on you for the entire appointment.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
