From the reviews
I came in for spinal stenosis and inflammation in my body. I was told I needed neck surgery but decided that was risky and invasive. Huimin changed my life and my chronic pain from a 10 to a 0! It has been a year now and still no pain!
Dr Huimin Liu is amazing. She helped me with a bad fall I had and several other issues with cupping, special Chinese herbs & cures, tea’s and supplements. And she saved my mom from having dialysis while in the hospital with her special concoctions!
My 65 year husband had a massive stroke ( see photo) due to extremely high blood pressure and stress. There were some other factors as well , but suffice to say, he was in jeopardy of yet another stroke if he couldn’t get his BP down. No medicine or doctor was helping so we went the alternative route with Huimin.
I have been seeing Dr. Lui for a few months now and I am so grateful that I have found someone who has actually been able to help me! She has an amazing knowledge of both Chinese medicine and Western medicine because she has studied each extensively.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
