From the reviews

After experiencing a pinched nerve in my neck (from a poor posture working on my laptop) which resulted as numbness, tingling and a shooting pain all the way down to my left thumb for over a month, I was encouraged by a friend to schedule a treatment with Paula.

★★★★★ — Jerry, Aug 2017

I am a retired occupational therapist and familiar with body work from work and through personal experience. Paula is by far the most accomplished massage therapist I have experienced. I schedule a 90" enhanced massage once a month and no longer suffer from chronic neck and upper back pain.

★★★★★ — Leslie, Jul 2017

I have seen Paula for years on a regular basis...it took me four other massage therapists to find her. I'm not leaving!!

★★★★★ — Rick, Mar 2026

I’ve received bodywork from Paula for several years, and every session with her is deeply healing. She brings such a grounded, loving presence into her work that you immediately feel safe, supported, and cared for.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
