Booked a 70 minute massage/ cupping Saturday. Cathy greeted me right away and went over what to expect. She discussed what areas if any I’d like to focus on. Very professional. From start to finish, she made sure I was comfortable, she used all 70 minutes consistently. I body build and suffer from sore muscles.
Aloha, 5 star quality care! Had the 90 minute Hawaiian Bliss which comes with hot stones and aromatherapy. Also tried something new Visceral manipulation which made my core feel stronger. My plan is to have visceral manipulation again at my next visit. Cathy took Great care of me from head to toes .
I called and asked if I could walk in and Cathy luckily had availability. She walked me through her options and we decided her visceral massage would be best. Within the first 10 minutes, she was able to identify most of my body’s issues that I was already aware of.
Cathy gave me THE BEST MASSAGE EVER! I suffer from back pain due to sedentary work/sitting at my desk. Cathy performed the best deep tissue that released even the tightest knots. She uses just the right amount of pressure. Her leg scrub and body oil used always makes my skin feel soft for a few days.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
