i was very skeptical about the whole thing because i didn't understand how needles could help my condition however, it made a lot of sense when i was explained how it worked. it relieved my neck and back pain, headaches, hormonal imbalance, insomnia, depression, and anxiety all due to stress.
I first came to Dr. Park about 4 years ago from a car accident which left me with 4 herniated discs in my neck, lower back pain and numbness in my wrist. I tried several other Drs afterwards due to the distance, but could not find the same relief.
I wish I had tried acupuncture sooner! I've done massage therapy, drug therapy and eight years of chiropractic....none of them helped me as much as Dr. Park!!! He cured my plantar faciitis, my back and neck pain are finally under control and my muscles are not in a constant state of constriction.

What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
