From the reviews
Can’t say enough about how knowledgeable Heather is about acupuncture and supplement support. Warm and friendly. She identifies things that others miss and makes suggestions for life style changes. If you need a second opinion or another perspective, she’s got you covered. Simply amazing.
Heather is awesome and her techniques have really helped me with my chronic back pain due to cancer. If you’re on the fence about trying acupuncture, I can’t recommend Heather enough!
I started seeing Heather halfway through my pregnancy for heartburn, and with her acupuncture treatments and thoughtful recommendations, it continuously improved week after week. Later in my pregnancy, I switched my focus to helping a breech baby flip and then to naturally encourage labor.
Heather was recommended to me by my massage therapist as a person who could help me with my digestive issues. I find her to be very knowledgeable about acupuncture, very kind and extremely caring. Not only has she been able to help me with my digestive issues, she is educating me along the way!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
