Why Heart's Pace Massage and Bodywork is listed — cupping is a treatment, not a Google category, so we only list a provider when there's real proof they offer it. Here's what we found: “e feet to deliver broad, consistent, and deep pressure, often while holding overhead bars for balance. Reducing chronic pain, increases range of motion, and relieves tight muscles through gravity-assisted, long strokes. Cupping & Bodywork…” source →

“This place is more of a tea spot, but the atmosphere and the low background music is just so calming that I just wanted to sit there, close my eyes and meditate!”

From the reviews

Some of the friendliest staff and coziest atmosphere. Truly feels like a healing space. Rest in a comfortable chair with a cup of hot brewed tea surrounded by plants. Try an elderberry wine tea if you’re a fan of hibiscus it’s rich and perfectly tangy.

What a nice place to visit! It made me so happy to find, and experience, my very first gongfu-style tea. It also made me sad because I was only visiting the area for the weekend and wished I lived nearby so I could be a regular customer for Hearts Pace!

I hadn't had a massage in a while and due to the extreme stress I have had over the last year or so I gifted myself a belated Christmas present of a 90 minute Swedish massage at Hearts Pace. The massage was done by Jenny who was excellent!

We love coming to Heart's Pace so much. As a family, we used to get massages once every six months. But since meeting Beau, we've come to appreciate how healing body work can be, and come much more regularly. Beau and his team have such great energy and presence.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
