From the reviews
I have seen Kelly several times for an ankle problem and rehab after finally having ankle surgery. She's amazing. She is dedicated, knowledgeable, cares about her patients, and provides great therapeutic care.
I'm not sure I could say greater things about not only HealthQuest, but this staff and location in particular. This is my second time coming to HQ following my second ACL surgery (different knees.) Kelly was my PT in Pleasant Ridge, so I knew I would feel comfortable right away.
great place! Owner & Director Kelly have been here after major foot surgeries. Highly Recommend to use this location in Ferndale Michigan! It's location on 9 mile is easy to get in your PT sessions!
Great experience at HealthQuest physical therapy in Ferndale! Discharged today after 16 visits and there's no doubt my ankles are better for it, quite possibly avoiding surgery in my situation.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
