Irena is absolutely fantastic. I've gone to Massage Envy and Hand and Stone in the past but she has been a blessing in massage therapy. You get the full 60 min and she does an absolutely phenomenal job.
It's always such a relaxing experience. From the moment I walk in and the relaxing aromas fill the room. To the warm bed (during these rainy days). Her pressure is always on point or when asked to adjust she always applys the perfect pressure. I can't believe everything you receive for the price you pay.
Irena understood what I needed from my visit. She is very gifted with wonderful strength to work out any cramps. She used Himalayan Salt, Hot Stones and Cupping which really loosened up my back muscles so much so, I returned the next day for more. She is very accommodating to your needs. Her set up is very private.
Wanted to try out a new massage place and purchased the intro deal. I'd only had a swedish massage before and thought hot stone sounded relaxing. Turned out that it also included cupping, which I've heard of from friends. It leaves marks on your back but nothing crazy. Didn't hurt at all, just a tightness sensation.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
