From the reviews
Doc Mary is honestly the best. She is honest, knowledgeable, professional and know what she is doing. If you are looking for a doctor who is compassionate, understanding, and know how to improve your health without all the pharmaceutical and side effects. Give her a call.
I love Doc Mary! Very professional, friendly and helpful. Acupuncture has helped me with various issues for over a decade now! I'm 56, not on any meds and I feel great. I highly recommend!
As a licensed practitioner recommending someone is a big deal. After all, it's my professional reputation on the line. That said, it's not something that I do often. I can personally attest to Dr. Mary's effectiveness in treating a myriad of conditions.
What a relief to find Dr. Mary! Under her care and acupuncture treatment I've stopped taking allergy medicine and feel so much better and balanced. Life changing!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
