From the reviews

I have to share. I pulled a shoulder muscle last Thursday and thankfully had an appointment for this past Saturday for a massage. My shoulder hurt so much I could not even lift my arm. After some intense cupping and deep massage from Angela, my shoulder started to feel better.

Forgot to take picture but I will next time. This place is awesome. If you need work done and you don’t go to see her you’re doing yourself a disservice. She’s friendly, kind, sweet, fun, funny, very educated and smart.

You can tell Angela is very skilled at what she does. She tailored the treatment to what my body needed, explained what she was doing and why. I have never gotten trigger work done before and I felt the immediate relief in my body.

Angie knows what she's doing!! She can tailor your massage to what you need, and shes always looking for new methods to improve what you need. I'm an aging athlete looking to keep performing and recovering from shoulder surgery. Her work has absolutely helped me in recovery and continued performance!!

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
