What clients say about the cupping here
“She is very knowledgeable in women’s health and has helped me in so many ways to address the concerns I have.”
From the reviews
Danielle was kind, professional and knowledgeable. She took her time to talk to me regarding my issues and goals. After our intake, she did acupuncture and ended our session with some cupping. I walked out of her office pain fear and feeling better than I have in a very long time.
It’s been a great experience going to acupuncture again after not doing it for almost 20 years. She is very professional and efficient with intake and allowing for my insurance to pay for it. Thanks for the help. My body feels better.
I have loved my experience working with Danielle. She is very knowledgeable in women’s health and has helped me in so many ways to address the concerns I have.
Great experience. The therapy from acupuncture has been a great help. Danielle is very knowledgeable and helpful. After a few visits I am seeing results.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
