Why Healing Haven Massage is listed — cupping is a treatment, not a Google category, so we only list a provider when there's real proof they offer it. From the reviews
As a hairdresser of 30 years, I have been to several massage therapists and hands down she is the best I have ever had! If you have a chronic problem she will research and figure out how to help you before your appointment and I promise you you will leave there feeling 95% better!
Kerri has been such an excellent massage therapist! She is very skilled at bodywork and always takes the time to ask about any injuries or specific issues that I'm dealing with.
Kerri was absolutely amazing! I've had ongoing, excruciating headaches due to severe vertebrae and nerve damage issues for a couple years now. At the conclusion of our session, I was almost completely free of the headache! Kerri, you are awesome!!!
Kerri did an amazing job! I loved the incorporated stretching and the scalp work she did in particular. Definitely looking to get back in!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
