My first session was in june of 2019. I have had severe pain on the bottom of both heels for over 30 years. None of the doctor's I've seen in that time were able to help with the pain. I would have onle about 2 hours to be on my feet before the pain was so bad the only thing I could do is stop and get off my feet.
I have been seeing Talitha for 12 years. My first visit was because I couldn’t even make a fist my hands were so swollen and the joints so inflamed from RA. I know everyone doesn’t, but I have always gotten immediate relief. She is knowledgeable and so so helpful. She always seems to know just what to do.
Took care of all my pain issues also helped greatly with my anxiety as well..So happy I tried accupunture..It has been a real life changer.
Talitha is amazing! The office is comfortable and inviting. The treatment was smooth and so helpful! She has an alarm, so even though you are alone during the treatment, she is always available. The treatment table was comfortable and warm. I can’t say enough good things! If you have a chance, come visit Talitha!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
