9/20/2025- It's been a minute since I've been to Healing Hands Clinical Massage in Cabot. Last year they took care of my wrist and shoulder issues and today they took care of my low back and leg! I've seen 3 of their therapists- Mariah, Lauren and Justin and they are all excellent!
I have hEDS, which causes significant issues with my mobility and chronic muscle and fascia pain. I've been going to Healing Hands for almost a year now and have never left another massage establishment experiencing the relief I do now.
I had one of the best massage experiences I’ve ever had! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was calm, welcoming, and beautifully relaxing. The space was spotless, softly lit, and instantly put me at ease. Justin was incredibly professional, attentive, and intuitive.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
