From the reviews

I went to the office today with bad pain and Dr. Schwietert and his team took their time as they worked with me to get me moving again. I even received call from them later in the day to check my status. I have already booked several more appointments and fully trust they will get me back to normal.

I've been blessed to receive treatment from both Dr. Jim and now Dr. Rachel with Healing Hands Chiropractic. Both doctors have demonstrated how much they genuinely care for their patients. Their Chiropractic Assistant, Kim, is amazing and loves/cares just as deeply - all around!

★★★★★ — Shasta, May 2024

I crawled into Dr.Rachel's caring arms as an alcoholic quadriplegic with fleeting eye vision and anger problems. After just four short visits where Dr.Rachel cracked me like a Frito and strapped me to a multitude of medieval torture devices, I was cured. Not only did Dr.

★★★★★ — Grant, May 2023

I started seeing Dr. Rachel for my SI pain in January. Shortly after that my husband and I found out I was pregnant. Dr. Rachel helped tremendously in keeping my si pain under control during pregnancy. As my due date approached she helped make sure baby was in the right position. I also had Dr.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
