From the reviews

Great treatment with both acupuncture and cupping. Dr. He is able to assess well how to treat my needs. The acupuncture doesn’t hurt much and I feel a lot better afterwards.

★★★★★ — Brandon, Apr 2025

I don't know where to start… I started getting treatment 8 months postpartum because I was at my lowest. I felt depleted emotionally, physically, and mentally. I had no energy and struggled with stagnation and brain fog.

★★★★★ — Sindy, Aug 2024

Amazing! I started seeing Dr. He for eczema (which I’ve had for over 20 years) and have seen major improvements. She has also helped me with my seasonal allergies and has started noticing some new hair growth. I would recommend her!

★★★★★ — Shannon, Mar 2025

Got recommended to Dr He after moving to the San Ramon area. I was suffering from crashing fatigue, dragging period, and no lab tests revealed what the issue might be. Dr He is gentle and caring, easy to talk to and answers to all my questions.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
