This review is solely based on the consultation I did not choose to get the treatment plan. The consultation was good she asked a lot of questions and explained everything well. I do believe the treatment would work, but at the end of the consultant, the price outweighs the benefits.
I was very skeptical at first making the appointment. However, Dr. Fate exceed my expectations! I have had hyperthyroidism for 8 years now. I take medication when it flares up. I came to see Dr. Fate when I was having an episode and within my first couple of visits I was feeling amazing!
Wow! This therapy has been a wonderful addition to my healing process. Dr Fate listened to my concerns and helped nurture me to a place of wellness. I highly recommend her and acupuncture therapy for your personal healing journey.
I was having chronic lower back and sciatic pain from scoliosis. In addition, I had irritable bowel issues, and suffered fatigue when doing household chores. I had undergone PT and steroid injections. While the PT helped, the injections did not.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
