From the reviews
It’s hard enough finding pelvic floor physical therapy in Danbury, let alone quality therapy at that. However, I was thoroughly impressed by Catherine-Ann and the amazing office her and her team have built. To start, the office manager, Connie, is incredibly helpful with scheduling appointments.
From the initial phone call, I received a friendly hello and a very helpful and knowledgeable receptionist. I had hesitated making an appointment because I did not have a referral; she explained the process to me and offered to double check with my insurance company.
Enough parking spots. Wheelchair accessible, welcoming staff, lots of available schedules, clean, and they always answer the phone send appointment reminders. They have helped me in my journey to get back on my feet. Thank you, Meg, and the rest of the ladies for the help and words of encouragement.
I have been coming here for years to help both my ankle and replacements. The entire staff including the physical therapists, technicians, and administrators are always cheerful and welcoming. While the programs are intense, there is no doubting the fact that this practice is top notch.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
