From the reviews
I went to see Jessica to help me adjust my current eating habits. We spoke about my daily routines as well as the weekend routine. She gave really good advice on how to adjust my meals and reinforced those things that I'm doing well. I've started adjusting and have noticed already a difference.
I had an amazing experience with Jessica Roy, Registered Dietitian & Nutrition Counselor. She was so welcoming, truly empathic, and understanding. Her health and nutrition knowledge and guidance made me feel supported and empowered.
I read this quote on the wall today, “Taking care of myself isn’t self-indulgence, it’s self preservation”, and boy is that true. Lauryn knows exactly what I need every time I go in. She is able to adjust depending on how I’m feeling…. whether I need some pain management or just some de-stressing….
I had my first appointment with Jessica today, and it went very well. She listened attentively to all my concerns and provided feedback with a lot of helpful suggestions. She also followed up very quickly with an email detailing all we talked about. It was a pleasure meeting and talking with her and so very helpful!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
