From the reviews
Very professional staff and I was able to get in for my appointment right away as a new patient. I was in a car accident last year and the pain hasn't subsided. Dr.
The staff and friendly and amazing. I’ve been seeing Dr. An for about 2 months and he’s been life changing. I’ve had neck pains for the last year from work and after my first appointment they were gone. I’ve worked my way up to acupuncture, which is painless.
I have been visiting Grandview Chiropractic for about two years. I highly recommend their services! Dr. An studied in China and Korea. He is highly skilled. I was nervous about acupuncture when I first visited but he has really made me feel comfortable. The office was recently remodeled and I like the new layout.
Dr. An and his team have provided excellent care for me and my pain. What sets him apart from other chiropractors I've been to is 1) acupuncture is a routine part of treatment, 2) he provides X-rays to better diagnose the issues, and 3) some days he even has a massage therapist in the office that is complimentary.
Booking hijama (wet cupping) at Grandview Chiropractic & Acupuncture Clinic
Grandview Chiropractic & Acupuncture Clinic comes up as a provider that offers hijama — wet cupping, where the skin is lightly punctured after suction so a small amount of blood is drawn. If you're booking hijama specifically, a few things are worth asking before you go. First, sterility is everything — a reputable practitioner uses a fresh, single-use kit (new blades and cups) for every client and follows clean, gloved technique. It's completely fair to ask how they handle this. Second, many people booking hijama want a same-gender practitioner — ask whether that can be arranged. Third, ask about aftercare and whether they observe particular days if that matters to you.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
