From the reviews
Best massage therapy in the area! This is not your typical massage, it’s therapeutic. They use different techniques and specialize in myotherapy and myoskeletal alignment. It gets to the root of chronic pain. Look it up. I had lower back pain from doing heavy work and felt way better in the very first session.
If you go to a chiropractor and want to complement your therapy this is the place you’re looking for. My work requires sitting for extended periods of time, traveling and diving a lot so I’ve been to a lot of chiros and have gotten a good amount of massage and physical therapy over the years.
Adam has been great! • The space is aesthetically pleasing: clean, quiet, comfortable temperature, unscented air, with soft fabrics on the massage table. A comfort to all of my senses. • The work he’s been doing on my shoulder, wrist, and arm is working.
The appointment was relaxing while at the same time I felt like I was having a health appointment. Many massage places really focus on the relaxation and pampering. Although those elements were there, I wanted to get results on a specific problem I was having.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
