From the reviews

I spent a frustrating year of pain and inflammation caused by an autoimmune disease I didn't know I had. When I was finally diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis I followed the typically prescribed program.

★★★★★ — Jessamy, Apr 2025

I have been seeing Nhimsa for a couple years now and I couldn't be more thankful to have found a woman who can tune in so deeply to my body and know exactly what to work. She has had a tremendous part in my self healing journey. I recommend Nhimsa to anybody who is looking to have Accupuncture work done.

★★★★★ — Victoria, Nov 2022

Nhimsa is an excellent health care practitioner. Her specialty is acupuncture, however she has an extensive knowledge of the human body, including the musculature and mental health systems. I highly recommend her. My muscle pain has decreased and I always leave feeling grounded and happier 😊.

★★★★★ — Paige, Jan 2024

This place is life changing. I found myself in a very rough spot, and since coming here not only the acupuncture treatments but natural herbal support has made an incredible difference. Nhimsa is very knowledgeable and you can truly trust everything she tells you and gives you.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
