From the reviews
Booking an appointment is so easy and services are reasonably priced. The downtown location is very convenient. It's also very cool that they can accept FSA. Courtney is so careful and attentive. They adapt their techniques to suit my unique needs with my connective tissue disorder.
I'm so glad I booked with Courtney. Even a 30 minute targeted session was transformative. it's also incredible that they're offering sliding scale pricing when they can, AND they have a big juicy table for big body comfort. Support this local queer-affirming baddie!
I had the best intuitive massage experience at Glittermoss! I’ve seen many massage therapists, but Courtney is truly in a league of their own. They took the time to assess my specific needs rather than just using generic pressure.
Had a fully-clothed table massage (which I didn't know was possible until Courtney suggested for my needs). Wide table/different types of bolsters/made sure I was cared for throughout the session. Felt much less pain after and woke up the next morning feeling even better.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
