I had an amazing experience at Ginkgo Wellness today. It was my first visit, and I was immediately impressed by how beautiful, clean, and welcoming the space was. The staff was incredibly friendly and even offered me water before my appointment. I booked a 90-minute deep tissue massage with Ethan, and he was fantastic.
I booked a deep tissue massage with Sha. I had muscle soreness from exercising and stress. She took her time with the problem areas that I identified. There were additional areas of my body that were tight and she was able to take care of that as well.
I had an excellent experience at Ginkgo clinic today. I received a moxibustion treatment, and it was incredibly relaxing and effective. I particularly like the environment here which is clean, calm, and very comfortable. I felt much better right after the session.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
