From the reviews
Getting a massage here is a MUST. Although I had never had professional massage before, I had very high expectations and was worried they were too high. But I was absolutely blown away! I have significant trouble with anxiety and nothing has helped me as relax as much the massages I get here!
I want to express my appreciation for Cinthia Paraizo and what she's accomplished with some relaxation massage therapy at Gingie Spa & Salon. I feel like Cinthia's skilled hands turned back the hands of time by a decade for me!
Jessica is a truly talented, knowledgeable, and caring massage therapist. From my very first visit, I felt like she really listened to me, customized the massage to meet my needs, and noticed areas of concern that other massage therapists had missed.
Gingie spa and massage is one of our family's favorite spas. Zhenni always goes above and beyond to make her customers feel loved and well looked after. My parents are returning customers and we gifted them a couples massage for their 30th anniversary.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
