…From cupping to red light therapy too. I see Alex and she is great, I’ve been twice and already feel so at peace and ease with her services. The office is very clean and organized, you walk in and greeted by Mackenzie - extremely friendly and helpful.
…I was skeptical, as I had never tried acupuncture, or cupping, but I was desperate to find some relief after suffering extreme sciatica pains. I could not even walk upright when I walked in. It took a few sessions, but even after the first session, I felt relief. Highly recommend!
…There was a few weeks that I had cupping and Acupuncture. I truly believe that it is hoping me learn How to relax among so much more. I’ve had quite a few health issues this year, but I feel like Acupuncture is one of the things that is helping me the most.
…Alex the acupuncturist was very knowledgeable and I loved that she offered to try all of their different methods to help with my specific pains— acupuncture, cupping, gua sha, etc— which were all included in the price for the intro package. Give it a try!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
