From the reviews

I came to Robin for several reasons: help with my IBS issues, an interest in the power of acupuncture for overall health/well-being, and for some pampering. What struck me first about Robin is her deep understanding of healing and that she's a great listener.

★★★★★ — Julie, Dec 2025

Robin is an exceptional acupuncturist and healer. She's so engaged and truly seeks to understand what you're going through. She offers amazing advice and really cares (a rare trait in this day in age). She's thorough, very knowledgeable, focused, calming and patient.

★★★★★ — S, Feb 2024

Robin's excellent acupuncture and cupping sessions have helped me through many challenging times as a full-time working mother of three young children. In the postpartum period, she helped me recover from a difficult pregnancy.

★★★★★ — Kelly, Jan 2026

Robin is amazing at what she does and provides a comforting and positive environment. She has helped with my back and joint pain, TMJ, and various health issues and tailors each session to specific symptoms. The cupping (facial and back) is a great detox and so relaxing. I can’t recommend her enough!

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
