From the reviews

I can’t give them enough stars. Each and everyone at the Freehold location is amazing. I walked in crooked and slowly they helped me to start walking straight The way that they do the therapy is just amazing. It’s not like you’re in the box physical therapy place. Jolene, Justin, Noah.

I’ve done a review before and gave 5 stars and years later it remains at 5 stars! The Carteret office manager Terri is AMAZING! When I’m running late or unable to come she accommodates and I know it’s with a smile on her face because I can hear it over the phone! When it comes to John, Chris & Seung…they have my heart!

★★★★★ — Chantel, Apr 2026

I honestly can’t thank the team at Garden State Therapy Group in Colonia enough. I had been dealing with chronic back pain for over 5 years and had gone to multiple other therapy locations with little to no lasting improvement. I was starting to believe this was just something I was going to have to live with forever.

My first experience with GSPT was a couple of years ago. I was pregnant and wanted to start acupuncture to help move me along for natural labor and also did some circulation work for my legs as well as some pelvic floor exercises.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
