From the reviews
I came to see Dr. Chantal Davis as a skeptic and in a lot of pain, but she quickly changed my perspective on acupuncture. After just my second session, I started to feel real relief, and it’s only improved since then. Dr.
Chantal is such a thoughtful and patient practitioner. I felt very comfortable with her, and was able to discover underlying issues that were causing the symptoms of concern. After several treatments I noticed improvement and began to feel much better.
Dr. Chantal is wonderful! She is so kind and takes the time to get to know you. I came to her after my baby was born with some post party anxiety and body pain and I am so happy I did! I always feel amazing after my visits!
From the very beginning, Dr. Chantal was incredibly caring and attentive. She started with a thoughtful intake, asking important questions that helped her understand the areas where I needed support.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
