From the reviews

…I have been getting acupuncture and cupping treatment from Kate weekly for about 3-4 months now. She has been doing a great job keeping me on the field to suit up on Sunday's. I had a quad strain during camp 2016 and she kept me on the field even with the strain. She is very professional and great at what she does.

I just love Kate! She is very professional. Kate has really helped me out with a lower back issue. I suffered for approx. 2 years with major lower back pain. I have been with Kate for about 2 years and with monthly maintenance she has just about alleviated my pain.

★★★★★ — Toni, Feb 2019

Kate was amazing! I had my first visit with her today for extreme sinus issues and about 2 hours after my appointment I had almost no sinus congestion. I can't tell you how long it has been where I haven't had congestion. I'll recommend Kate to everyone! I can't thank her enough.

This is Rozlyn and I saw Kate last week for my sinuses. I couldn't believe how they began to drain immediately after the treatment. They continued to drain for a few days afterwards as well. I am looking forward to my next treatment!!

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
